Bandit’s WoW Life : Good News and Bad News
I’m starting a new section that I am going to call “Bandit’s WoW Life” It will be about my daily adventures in World of Warcraft. The focus will be on my new character I just created called Tankhide, a Tauren warrior on the Area 52 server. He started with no help, gold, or heirlooms.
There is good news and bad news. The bad news is it seems like there was not much interest in my wow post
on the pet contest, so I extended the deadline. The good news is yesterday I started my new Tauren warrior on the Area 52 PVE server. I’m following the rules I posted, and I’m doing this by myself so far. I hear Area 52 has a good horde community, so I’m going to try to make some friends there. It’s been quite a challenge to make gold compared to having a lvl 85 character to farm for you.It took 2 hours for me to make 5 gold while I was leveling. I decided instead of doing professions to gather with herbalism and skinning. My biggest sellers were light leather, stringy wolf meat and linen cloth. Peacebloom and silverleaf were not selling good because the market was flooded with them. ( although I just checked my auctions a second ago and I sold a stack of peacebloom for 7 gold) I’m sure herbalism will pick up at higher levels. It’s been fun. I was ecstatic when I woke up this morning to find 25 gold in my mailbox from auctions that sold over night.
I did make the mistake of leveling my cooking a few levles before I cought on to how much meat was selling for. I can level cooking once I hit 85. I’m not leveling first aid either. Cloth = lots of gold. So I’m selling everything and buying as little as I possibly can. At some point I may have to buy some gear and weapons. I’m hoping the LFD gets me good enough gear to keep me from doing that. On second thought, I’m not going to buy anything except training, repairs, and riding training.
All together I made 27 gold my first day. I think that is great for going level 1-12 in just 2 hours of playtime. I’ll have to check my /played on that to make sure.
